There are many single families who find Christmas a difficult time. It is a time when they are confronted with harsh realities, and they often feel sorry for their children. To support these single families, we have set up a project to deliver Christmas presents. We will pack the gifts donated by companies with the help of our volunteer staff and deliver them to children all over the country. As there is a shipping cost of 1,000 yen per household, we need a lot of support. We want to bring the joy and energy of Christmas to single-parent families.

Hello everyone! We are Heartful Family!

Since 2016, Heartful Family has been working to create various forms of support to help single parents and their children overcome their many difficulties.

We have created this project to ask for your cooperation in our “HIGH FIVE CHRISTMAS 2024” initiative, which involves sending Christmas gift boxes to all the families in the Heartful Family, in the hope that you will understand that Christmas, which comes once a year, is a very painful and sad event for some, and that we can deliver the energy to work hard in the following year.

In Japan, 1 in 3 people say “I wish there was no Christmas”.

The realities of Christmas for single families.

“It is a time when you feel your shoulders droop as you are confronted with the harsh reality that, despite having spent the year struggling to provide for your children, nothing has changed.”

“The streets are brightly lit up, and the people walking around seem so happy... When I think about Christmas presents and the food we'll eat on Christmas Day, I sometimes feel bad for my children, and from the bottom of my heart, I wish there really was a Santa Claus...”

“As a mother and a parent, I feel that I am not alone in my desire to be Santa Claus, and I can make a promise to myself to do my best again next year!”

We want single parents to feel that they have support. We want them to be energized to work hard again next year! We want to change Christmas into the day of the year when single parents are the most energetic!

With this in mind, we will deliver Christmas presents to single parent households.

This is how the Christmas boxes that are delivered to the front door on December 25th are made.
